New Brick Garden Wall in Southend-on-Sea, Essex
We recently completed this new brick garden wall installation in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, replacing an ageing and deteriorating retaining wall with a smart, attractive brickwork boundary.
The original wall had become heavily weathered and damaged, with sections of the brickwork crumbling beneath the established garden beds. The customer wanted a stronger, more attractive replacement that would provide a neat boundary between their raised front garden, driveway and the adjoining pavement.
Our team carefully removed the damaged sections of the existing wall and prepared the area for the new brickwork. We then constructed a new curved brick retaining wall, using attractive multi-tone bricks that complement the existing property and driveway.
The new wall follows the natural shape of the garden boundary, incorporating a neatly curved corner and a consistent brick finish throughout. The top of the wall was finished with a decorative brick-on-edge coping, providing a smart appearance and a defined edge to the raised planting area.
The completed project has significantly improved the appearance of the property’s frontage while creating a much tidier and more substantial boundary around the garden.
