New Feather Edge Fencing | Rayleigh, Essex

New Feather Edge Fencing in Rayleigh, Essex

We recently completed this new feather edge fencing installation in Rayleigh, Essex, replacing an old and heavily overgrown boundary with a strong, attractive and much more secure garden fence.

The existing boundary had become completely covered with vegetation, leaving the garden looking untidy and offering limited privacy. Our team cleared away the overgrowth and removed the old fencing before preparing the boundary for the new installation.

We installed timber feather edge fencing with concrete posts and concrete gravel boards, providing a robust and long-lasting solution. The concrete gravel boards keep the timber raised away from direct contact with the ground, helping to protect the fence from moisture and deterioration.

The completed fence has made a dramatic difference to the garden. The clean timber panels provide excellent privacy while the concrete posts and gravel boards create a strong, neatly defined boundary that should remain looking good for years to come.

Durable Garden Fencing Built to Last

Feather edge fencing is an excellent choice for residential gardens because it combines privacy, strength and a traditional appearance. When installed alongside concrete posts and gravel boards, it creates a particularly durable boundary that requires relatively little maintenance.

This project also shows just how much difference replacing an old, overgrown boundary can make. The new fencing has opened up the garden visually, created a much cleaner backdrop for the planting and lawn, and significantly improved the overall appearance of the outdoor space.
